| Abstract | 'Aqlah Brice al Shediaq was one of the married women who left her village in northern Lebanon and migrated to the USA. This short article tells the study of a pioneer Lebanese migrant to the US, whose individual courage, perseverance and integrity laid the foundation for her family's future. This article illustrates that 19th century Middle Eastern emigration was also feminine. |
